THE BEST LITTLE HALL IN TOWN…Is getting a makeover!

We are very excited to announce the Melville Hall will be undergoing a major refurbishment commencing December 2018. This project will last for 2 months and therefore the hall will not be available for hire until mid-February 2019. We are still accepting bookings for 2019. Please note that the hall hire pricing will be increased from 2019 – rates yet to be confirmed. Melville Hall is a community hall situated on the corner of Ohaupo Road and Normandy Avenue, Hamilton, behind the Gull Service Station.

WHAT DOES HIRE INCLUDE?

The hall caters for up to 100 people. It has a wooden floor and there are kitchen facilities available. Parking is available right outside. Alcohol is allowed on the premises.
Hireage includes:

  • **NEW** Ballet Barre
  • Chairs
  • Trestle tables
  • Fridge
  • Pie Warmer
  • Gas oven
  • Mugs
  • Teapots
  • Stage
  • Gas heating
  • Ceiling fans

PRICING

Pricing is as follows:

  • $20 per hour casual users.
  • $50 booking fee (non-refundable) if cancelled two weeks prior to the event.
  • $200 bond for children’s birthdays on a Saturday – finish by 2.00pm
  • $250 for events etc for a Saturday night, $500 bond.
